Nigella Lawson Recipes
Nigella Lawson is considered one of the United Kingdom’s most influential culinary writers and TV chefs ever, claiming success in British Vogue, best-selling cookbooks and two acclaimed television series. Her unique look and outlook on her craft have helped her win over fans worldwide.
After graduating with a degree in Medieval and Modern Languages from Oxford University, Lawson quickly became a successful journalist while writing for Timeand Vogue in the UK, and Bon Appetit in the U.S. Her cookbooks (How to Eat: The Pleasures and Principles of Good Food and How to Be a Domestic Goddess: Baking and the Art of Comfort Cooking, to name two) were simply a natural progression from the many food articles she has penned.
Her columns received so much attention that a television deal was struck, leading to a cooking show called Nigella Bites and another in 2002 named Forever Summer. Lawson has been successful as a food editor, author and television host, receiving book awards in 1998, 2000 and 2001 in various categories, as well as media awards for her popular show Nigella Bites.
If you thought there was nothing left that this UK “It” girl could do you’d be wrong. In 2007 she came out with her own line of kitchenware.
